The Channel Difference

There’s a wide divide between good and great, especially when it comes to service. And while selling seed is a good thing, that’s simply not good enough for us.

A Channel Seedsman is different because he’s out there, walking your fields, checking in often, looking for the best way to help you get the most out of your conditions, keeping an eye on your challenges and staying on top of what’s new. Which is why we’re not just some company out to sell you seed. We’re a seed company out to win you over with personal service, elite products and expert advice like no one else.

That's what we call Seedsmanship.

Services
WHERE CUTTING EDGE TECHNOLOGY AND A PASSION FOR SERVICE MEET

We believe the genetics we have access to offer the best top to bottom corn and soybean portfolio in our region. Not only do we provide the best hybrids in corn and varieties in soybeans–but we also pride ourselves in a full service approach to your farm from start to finish. Our job is to know our products and where to place them on your specific acre. We want to give you peace of mind knowing what you have planted in the spring will be productive and profitable in the fall.

Crop protection is a new service that Acheson Seed is proud to offer. We want to be with your fields every step of the way, providing herbicide, fungicide, and insecticide expertise that protect your investments and expand your profits.

Zone sampling is an attempt to improve the traditional grid sampling. We break down each of your fields into 5 different zones using satellite imagery, past soil knowledge, elevation maps, and yield maps. We then will variable rate fertility and seed based on your yield goals. Our goal of zone management is to become more efficient with your inputs.

Soybean Varieties

Roundup Ready 2 Xtend

Roundup Ready 2 Xtend soybeans are the #1 soybean system planted in the US for a reason: They provide tolerance to glyphosate and dicamba, along with the high yielding genetics farmers have become to expect.

XTENDFLEX

XtendFlex® soybeans will be the industry’s first triple-stack soybean trait with tolerance to dicamba, glyphosate and glufosinate. Built on Roundup Ready 2 Xtend® technology and with the additional tolerance to glufosinate, farmers will have increased flexibility and choice of three effective herbicides to support the way they manage their fields’ unique weed challenges.
